FEBRUARY CRUISE POSTPONED
AND RESCHEDULED
TO 5-8 MARCH 2021
We have this afternoon made the tough decision to cancel this weekend’s cruise & reschedule to 5-8 March due to only a couple of entrants and not the most perfect Whitsunday weather for the next few days.
Therefore as mentioned in our previous email if we had to cancel, we’d go to the WSC for some camaraderie. So we’ve booked a table under the name of APYC at the sailing club for 6.30pm Saturday night 20 Feb.

They have a new and fresh menu out so come along for a nice evening on the balcony. We can discuss the rescheduled cruise and will be keen to hear any new ideas on our cruising in company weekends.

JOIN THE FEBRUARY APYC/WSC
4 DAY CRUISE IN COMPANY
19 – 22 February 2021
Be a part of our February cruise in company from Friday 19 – Monday 22 February
Meeting up at Cid Harbour on Friday 19 March, we’ll go ashore around happy hour time of 5pm for drinks & nibbles and a bbq at Dugong Beach campsite. There’s tables there but bring your own if you want to. Then we’ll decide on where to go for the next day or two depending on the weather. This will give people who cannot come out until Saturday a chance to call up on the mobile to see where we are headed. It will be within a days sail from Airlie.
On the Saturday and Sunday we can either have a bbq or nibbles in a group, hopefully on a beach somewhere. You will need to BYO food and drinks. The APYC has a BBQ and will bring that along. This is an inter club cruise so sailors from APYC and WSC are all welcome to come along. The more the merrier.
For joining details give Steve Larsson a call on 0418933725 before 18 February if you plan to come along. It’s that time of year where weather is a big factor so we need your mobile number in advance. If we have to cancel because of rain, we can all go to WSC for some camaraderie.
