Bill Trueman

Bill is a very experienced and passionate sailor both ocean and bay racing and has competed in many races and regattas. Sailing on 14′ to 18′ skiffs, 2 handed to large keel boats. He has sailed many Sydney to Hobart’s, all the Victorian Ocean Races (some record breakers) and Geelong race Weeks and in other regattas such as Skandia Cowes (UK), Hogs breath Race Week and Hamilton Island race week. He has also coached Women’s sailing team to championship winners.
Bill has considerable expertise and experience in marine yards and management, boat building and rigging. Skilled experience in all type of boat handling, yachts, power boats, monohulls and multihulls, from small to super yachts, racing and cruising.
He now loves sailing and teaching his family on Goggo chikara, sports boat on steroids.
Giving back to the club as committee member just fits. He sees a vibrant future for the club for families, community and future generations to enjoy the sport of sailing.
