The WSC Discover Sailing centre is run most Sundays inside school terms. Each course lasts approximately 8 – 10 weeks.

Learn to Sail
This program introduces novices to dinghy sailing, teaching them the skills needed to sail a boat by themselves.
The program is taught in Opti Tacker boats, which are designed to be stable, safe and easy for beginners.
DURATION: 1 term / 9 weeks (approximate)
FEES: $250 (course fee)
Learn to Race
This program teaches the sailor how to control the boat better and how to sail faster in stronger winds. This leads sailors to our afternoon coached racing.

FEES FEES: $260 (course fee)
Coached Racing
Participants will enjoy competitive club racing with the added benefit of an elite level coach. Each week a new topic of race strategy is covered.
Entry fee $5.00 per race session.
Note: We strive to make sailing affordable and inclusive. The program is run by 100% volunteer labour. Parents of at least some of the particip1ants will need to assist.
